At 50 years of age, most would be wrong to write off the music producer and electronic legend that is David Guetta. While the industry is seeing the emergence of young and fast-rising stars climb up the EDM ranks and competition stronger than before ever to stay ahead of the ever-changing game, Guetta has proven that it’s possible to stay relevant, more so than ever, with his highly-decorated career spanning more than three decades. The Frenchman continues to be front and centre of the electronic spotlight alongside the very best in the business and it’s no surprise following what has been a truly sensational year for the music producer.

In September, David Guetta released his impeccable album ‘7‘ which demonstrated the music producers ability to defy being bound to just a single genre and sound. In a recent interview with Associated Press, the ‘Titanium‘ star sat down to discuss the secret to his success and his latest album.

In the interview, Guetta has some promising words to share as he says he feels “very complete as a man and an as an artist right now“, and certainly right to for the Grammy winner who found himself in DJ Mags Top 100 DJs this year at position number five – 2 positions up from last year. the interview covers how David Guetta has been a busy man on the road and making the album which sees him team up with a number of high-profile artists including Sia, Justin Bieber, Bebe Rexha, and Martin Garrix to name a few. Talking about his crazy schedule, David said:

“Yes, it’s sometimes a little too much. I’m not going to lie, because at the moment I’m doing one city per day. It’s a lot. But it’s the life I chose, and it makes me very happy.”
