Dennis Cartier – Underground Melody

After playing across Europe and Africa, dropping a set at Tomorrowland, and having music released on labels by the likes of Vato Gonzalez and Fedde Le Grand, there is no doubt that Belgian DJ and producer Dennis Cartier is one of the hot rising talents. Though there is plenty more to come from the 29 year old, the signs of what is set to be a great producer are clear and evident. After starting his career aged 16 as a DJ in his home town of Ardooie, Cartier got his first release in 2014 via Vato Gonzalez’s label, and hasn’t looked back since. His latest release ‘Underground Melody‘ is one of his best yet, and a definite must-listen.

After 4 years of building up his career, Cartier’s latest release truly displays the work that he has put in over recent times. Taking his usual blend of tribal and electro to a new level, ‘Underground Melody‘ is a deep, rumbling electro track with some Grade A percussion to create a phenomenal groove. You can see why Fedde Le Grand has picked this one up, as Cartier has nailed the electro sound and made a club ready banger straight from the off.
