DJ Snake has no doubt grown to be one of the biggest stars of the music industry, releasing countless hits we have all heard countless times at clubs, festivals and on the radio. The French DJ and producer has set the world alight with another huge year filled with stand out releases and spectacular live performances. Earlier this year, he took to his Instagram to tease a new album in the works, generating lots of excitement and anticipation. We had however not heard from DJ Snake since on this topic until a recent announcement coming from his Instagram stories.
In the Instagram story, the Pardon My French superstar apologises to his friends and family for being distant, explaining he is busy working on his new album. This is now the second time he has mentioned an upcoming album and this recent tease suggests it is almost done, and could possibly be releasing sooner than we thought. Although nothing has been confirmed yet, fans will be eagerly awaiting some more news regarding his new album. If his debut album ‘Encore‘ is anything to go by, we can expect to have another massive album filled with chart-toppers.
In a recent interview, the French DJ and producer admitted he almost quit music in 2013 but was given his chance by Diplo, with whom we would later form the incredibly successful Major Lazer.
I was trying to send [the song] to all the big dudes…and the only dude that emailed me back was Diplo. I think he said something like, ‘Wow, that’s a game changer. I want this for Mad Decent.
