What happens when two of the biggest names in dance music collide? Well, usually, the result is an insane production which perfectly encapsulates a specific moment in electronic history, and on this occasion, that potent cocktail certainly delivered, when Fedde Le Grand reworked a Fatboy Slim classic in 2009.

With Fatboy, aka Norman Cook, long recognised as one of the most incredible DJs of the modern era, once selling out 250,000 tickets to the entirety of Brighton beach during his peak, the UK producer and turntable master became an iconic figure in 90’s dance with tracks like ‘Right Here, Right Now’ and ‘Weapon of Choice.’ However, it was perhaps ‘Praise You‘ that really put Norman on the map, and so, Fedde Le Grand of ‘Put Your Hands Up for Detroit’ fame decided to deliver a freshen up to the original on this day exactly 9 years ago.

Still sounding as good today as it did back in 2009, you can check out Fedde’s ‘Praise You 2009’ below, a truly stellar re-imagination of Fatboy Slim’s most recognisable anthem.
