Galantis – Emoji

Taking advantage of the viral trends of a few years ago with their latest song title, Swedish duo Galantis have dropped their new single ‘Emoji.‘ With emojis bursting into the life at the start of this decade thanks to the iPhone, there was even an emoji movie just a few years back, and much like the symbols themselves, this latest effort from Galantis is both fun and quirky.

Having previously delivered tracks like ‘Peanut Butter Jelly’ and ‘No Money’, the duo have established a reputation as one of dance music’s popular acts, playing on the main stage of EDC Las Vegas, and Creamfields – where the pair also came with their drum sets and symbols to entwine electronic music and live instrumentals. The new single follows the recent Galantis & Throttle collaboration, and is out now!

Making the switch over from an established career in sports journalism to the world of dance music in 2016, Jake Gable has cemented a spot as one of the industry's most in-demand names during his tenure to date. Working on highly successful press campaigns for the likes of Tiësto, MK, and many more during his time at one of London's most premiere PR outfits, Gable has also proved his hand as a skilled journalist, interviewing acts such as Oliver Heldens, Martin Solveig, NERVO, and many more at international events like EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, and Amsterdam Dance Event. Working tirelessly as the CEO & Founder of UK company The EVENT, Gable also doubles up as a tour manager, playlist curator, dance music influencer, and DJ, under his JK-GBL alias. Further adding strings to his bow as a freelance copywriter - where he has worked for numerous iconic artists such as Axwell, and labels, such as Third Party's Release Records - Gable is best known for producing two of the biggest editorials in We Rave You history; The first a breaking news story on Swedish House Mafia's return at Miami's Ultra Music Festival in 2018 (a world exclusive), and the second titled 'Avicii: The Truth...', an inquest into the EDM star's passing, published less than 24 hours after his death.
