Following a spectacular year of touring, Kölsch returns to Speicher. The man in the hat has truly had a landmark year, from playing atop of the Eiffel Tower to hitting the main stage of Tomorrowland, his surge of followers and critical acclaim has been wild. As well, his IPSO event was a success and featured shows in top venues. Focusing on Speicher 106, we hear two simple, yet elegant tracks titled “Emoticon” and “Little Death“.

“Emoticon” features marimba lines and gritty bass that are compacted into one, steady track. “Little Death” is composed of groovy arps, gregorian vocals, and a crisp percussion line. Both tracks are emblematic of the classic Kölsch sound fans know and love. Released November 2nd on Kompact, these two tracks will slide perfectly into the after hour sets of tech and deep house DJ’s.

Known for his irresistible style, the producer/DJ has had a turbulent fall filled with events like his ten hour set in Antwerp, and his remix of Martin Solveig’sMy Love“. Having flied through the Beatport charts in the past few months, Kölsch is a name to watch in the coming year
