An artist who has remained an iconic figure throughout his years as a producer, Martin Garrix has had his fair share of hits within the electronic music scene and beyond. Having conquered the electronic scene, he soon branched out into pop, finding staggering success with hits like ‘In The Name Of Love‘ with Bebe Rexha and ‘Scared To Be Lonely‘ with Dua Lipa. Now one of his oldest tracks ‘BFAM‘ with Julian Jordan has just turned 6 years old.

Reminiscent of both artists’ early sound, the track perfectly summarises the trends of 2012, infused with energy and aggressive synths. Since the track’s release, both artists have developed their sound somewhat, but it is hits like ‘BFAM’ that enabled them to reach the success they have today. Like Martin Garrix, Julian Jordan has also been busy this year, having dropped a number of massive tracks. In fact, his most recent hit ‘Tell Me The Truth‘ was released on Garrix’s STMPD Records, another reminder that the two remain closely linked. Both artists have changed a great deal since the release of ‘BFAM’ but the track continues to make a huge impact six years on.
