Home Uncategorized Robert Miles’ iconic hit ‘Children’ turns 23 years old

When Robert Miles passed away in 2017, one of the first things he was instantly remembered for was his iconic track Children. The inspirational hit, which became a firm fixture on dancefloors all over the world, now turns 23 years old today, having enjoyed a first release in November 1995. With Robert Miles becoming a legendary figure in the dance music world, the producer performed many times in Ibiza, where this track is perhaps most-loved.

Featuring prominently on the dancefloors of Balearic superclub Amnesia during the trance nights of former Thursday evening residency, Cream, ‘Children’ was supported by several huge DJs, including Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, and Paul Oakenfold. Led by a prominent piano-based opening, it still sounds as fresh as ever in 2018.

Wishing a happy 23rd birthday to ‘Children’, we hope Robert Miles is looking down and smiling whilst remembering this production. Check it out below!
