Florida-based producer Rollin Royce has released his debut single; ‘The Way I Did’ feat. Future Pop. Royce, who had started out creating mashups, featuring the likes of Martin Garrix and Justin Mylo, has eventually worked his way up to fully producing his own tunes. An upbeat Pop tune, ‘The Way I Did’ brings the sun-soaked Summer vibes just in time for Summer in the southern hemisphere.

Oozing Pop/Tropical vibes from the get-go, pluck synths set the scene before the vocals kick in alongside the warm bassline, creating a whole, full-sounding track. Seamlessly transitioning to the chorus, Royce uses the soothing pads and vocals to transition between verse and chorus, excluding the imperative need for risers & crash fx.

Following the same successful blueprint as the first verse, the second continues to channel the summer vibes through the soft pads and bright plucks, before scooping out the bass at the 2-minute mark, giving the track a quick chance to breathe. The track closes out with another chorus, including vocals more prominently than that of the previous.
