Wolfgang Gartner – Medicine EP

Since his return in early 2016, legendary DJ and producer Wolfgang Gartner has been a truly unstoppable force pushing the boundaries of electro house. 2018 has been one of his biggest years to date, releasing some standout tracks like ‘Banshee‘ in collaboration with K?d and ‘Ching Ching‘. Wolfgang Gartner has now added to this list of releases with his latest EP ‘Medicine’. The 6 track EP revisits the electro-house genre Gartner is known for whilst also giving it a modern and unique touch. The production value on each track is incredible, and we can no doubt expect to hear tracks like ‘Bumblebee’ and ‘Make It Clap’ in clubs and festivals around the world for a while.

In a recent interview with Billboard, Gartner spoke about his inspiration for the EP and what we can expect to hear in the near future.

“2018 has been an insanely busy year for me in the studio, in fact I’ve finished more songs this year than any prior year in my career. I also feel like it’s some of the highest quality and best work I’ve done.  These kind of creative floods come rarely, and rather than releasing one massive album and getting it all out I thought each track would get more attention and chance to shine by doing small mini albums or EPs. Medicine is the first of these, and I plan on releasing a handful more sometime in the not-too-distant future”
