AmPm – Travelling Light feat. Frida Sundemo

One of those acts who have been dubbed as ‘enigmatic‘ due to the lack of any background information, the Japanese duo of AmPm however, are a brand who are all about their music and output. At least that is what they have showcased with their single titled ‘Best Part of Us’. The 2017 track garnered a staggering 18 million stream counts on Spotify and played a big part in helping the duo land a place behind the decks at the ‘Spotify on Stage’ – Spotify’s first live event in Asia. Having become the first Japanese act to land the spot, the duo have not looked back since and they are back to the charts with their recent track titled ‘Travelling Light’.

‘Travelling Light’ is a sumptuous House delight and a perfect single to make your late-night car rides memorable. Featuring the serenading voice of Swedish singer/songwriter Frida Sundemo, AmPm’s ‘Travelling Light’ grows on the listener with great uniqueness, employing quirky synth work and a solid foundation, while maintaining its easy-going essense. While 2018 can easily be marked off as a great year for AmPm as they performed at UMF Miami and crafted remixes for Afrojack and R3HAB, ‘Travelling Light’ adds the quintessential icing on the cake to assure that the Japanese duo head into 2019 with a great year to emulate.
