A man who needs very little introduction is Nate Rathburn. The 26 year old American has churned out hits for years, including bangers on a wide range of labels from Armada to Anjuna, and beyond. With tracks like ‘Leaving You‘, ‘Something Better‘, and his recent release alongside Arty titled ‘Never Letting Go‘, Audien isn’t afraid of pushing genres and producing a phenomenal track as a result. With years of experience under his belt, Rathburn has taken to his new track ‘Rollercoaster‘ to push the boundaries once more, and blend a number of genres to create an extra special track.

With influenced sounds from a number of dominant forces throughout the track, ‘Rollercoaster‘ has something that most tracks don’t right now. The creative flair that Audien possesses has designed a crossover of future bass, dubstep, commercial, and even an Avicii-style melody. Though the speed has been dropped right down, giving the track quite a mellow feel, it still has plenty of energy, and don’t be surprised if you see Audien dropping this over the coming months. It really is hard to put a specific genre on this one, as Rathburn expressed in his recent Instagram post shown below.

Audien hits the nail on the head with his caption, saying “If you guys know what genre it is let me know”. If you do know, then go let him know in the comments section on the post, because there has certainly been some interesting suggestions, though none seem to fit this extremely diverse productions. With some flawless vocals on the track provided by Liam O’Donnell, there’s plenty to sing along to, and ‘Rollercoaster‘ is sure to become a firm favourite.
