Dirty South feat. ANIMA! – Next To You (Versus Remix)

It’s been quite the year for dance music. Tons of evolution, a lot of new faces and some really hard goodbyes to old ones. There is some music that will come across our desk that just makes all of the jumbled, combined emotions come to together into one single feeling and that is what the LA based producer, Versus managed to do with this remix of the progressive house icon, Dirty South.

Keeping just enough of the original allure of the record, Versus managed to give this record a subtle and effective overhaul that we never even knew we needed until we got it. Beautiful arpeggios artfully guide the ever so delicate vocals that ANIMA! always brings to the table. The stripped down build up takes you into the abyss, clearing out frequencies to open the forefront of the mix where Versus expertly shows off his ‘Miami style vibe’ of the Dirty South hit that has recently gotten him some attention.

With a planned release on Robbie Rivera’s ‘Juicy Music’ early next year, a Beatport chart killer already under his belt, alongside artist support that is enough to marvel over – Versus shows extreme promise as we move into 2019. His single with LA producer buddy and frequent collaborator, Roy Orion called ‘Do That Thang’  which was released on Feenixpawl‘s curated imprint, Ecylpse Records garnered massive support from heavy hitters such as David Guetta, Fedde Le Grand, Dannic, andBingo Players.
