HANZY – Go!

The United Kingdom is one of the most important markets for Electronic Dance Music. Be it sales of individual records, multiple top-tier events and clubs like Creamfields Festival or Printworks in London or simply the great DJs and producers like Carl Cox, Fatboy Slim, and Pete Tong. However, most of the action is happening in one particular part of the United Kingdom; England. Wales and Northern Ireland do not get that much share of the cake. Scotland, however, is home to one of the most renowned DJs and producers around the world: Calvin Harris. He Scott is known under EDM fans and radio listeners alike and holds the Scottish flag high in clubs and festivals around the world. Now, another Scottish DJ and producer is trying to get into the giant footstep of Harris: HANZY.

The 17-year-old boy from Scotland’s capital Edinburgh has released his newest track ‘Go!’ a couple of weeks ago. Before that, HANZY already produced 3 other exceptional tracks, all available on his SoundCloud profile. His latest production, ‘Go!’ could have easily been a regular release on Hardwell’s label Revealed Recordings, because it definitely features some key elements and sounds that are typical for Revealed artists. Who knows, maybe a foreshadowing of HANZY’s way to the top. The track is a powerful and fast Electro House tune, that could definitely be played on mainstages around the world during the upcoming festival season. It is by no means a track for a chilly Sunday afternoon, but instead a track that deserved to be blasted through the subwoofers on a night out, ready to rage.
