Groove kingpin Kryder surprises fans with an epic journey of his favourite tracks from the year. The mix is bursting with tracks from his God Save the Groove mixes and is loaded full of edits and mashups. This year has been quite fruitful for the English DJ, who rocked shows around the world and underwent many personal milestones. From closing down Sosumi Records and opening Kryteria, 2018 has been crazy.
Last month, Kryder sat down with We Rave You to discuss his new EP and the amount of new artists he has brought under his wing. His record label Kryteria is now a platform for burgeoning groove artists to make a splash on the scene and get their name known. In October, ADE became the epicentre for groove mayhem when Kryder launched his God Save the Groove boat party. In his interview last month, he spoke to this when he stated:
“Basically, it started out as a compilation we’re putting together for our label called ‘God Save The Groove’ and I just wanted to put together a launch party for that. We did the Sosumi boat party last year and it went so well, we thought ‘can we go a little bit bigger, can we do something a bit more out the box’. I started looking for some boats and found a massive one! Kind of a floating warehouse! We invited all the guys who’ve produced records for the compilation to come and play, as well as some close friends and other guys I’m collaborating with as well.”
Without a doubt Kryder rocked 2018. Go back and enjoy some of his favourite tracks in episode 166 below!
