Mert Butuner, one of Manchester’s most promising up-and-coming DJs, got his hands on ‘Like A G6’. A classic originally released in 2010 by Far East Movement feat. The Cataracs, the track quickly found global success. Mert Butuner gives it a fresh new sound together with 3LACKJACK in their recently released bootleg. Only in October Mert Butuner released his Mashup Pack Vol. 4 which included hits like Swedish House Mafia’s festival banger ‘Antidote’ and Armin van Buuren’s number 1 hit ‘Blah Blah Blah’.

Now Mert Butuner is back with 3LACKJACK transforming the classic into an energetic club anthem, managing to pack 3 drops into roughly 3 minutes. Starting off with a very quick intro they jump right into the first chorus and drop in less than 50 seconds. Using the original’s vocals in the whole song brings about nostalgic feelings from when the original was released, making it a great combination of an old classic and a fresh new sound. Towards the end, they give you a quick moment to breathe with a slightly longer break and the rap solo before finishing off with the last drop, bringing you another energy boost and a relaxed outro.
