Martin Garrix – Dreamer (Remixes Vol. 1)

Last month, Dutch icon Martin Garrix released his collaboration with Mike Yung, ‘Dreamer‘. The track proved incredibly popular worldwide and has already amassed over 10 million Spotify streams, a staggering achievement for such a short period of time. Now, the first selection of remixes has landed, including reworks from Dutch megastar Nicky Romero, Italian prodigy SLVR and STMPD Records pioneer EAUXMAR.

Nicky Romero’s remix is, as predicted, incredibly progressive in nature, fueled with euphoria and adrenaline. Proving himself once again as the king of melodies, the Dutch icon remains one of the pioneers of the progressive house scene. SLVR’s remix, in contrast, is mellow in nature, stripping back the original and blending it with a deeply hypnotic beat. The perfect anthem for a darkened club, the remix is deeply atmospheric, putting a darker spin on the original. The third and final remix from volume 1 is provided by EAUXMAR and has clear jazz influences. Standing out as the most unique of the three remixes, EAUXMAR’s version explores completely new territory while retaining key elements from the original.
