Australia is set for its inaugural edition of Ultra Music Festival with the illustrious music event headed to the land down under next February 2019. While Ultra fans will travel both near and far to the festival, the Aussies have much to shout about because the event sees world number one DJ Martin Garrix return to the Ultra line up ever since appearing on an Ultra stage back in 2017. That’s right, the young Dutchman is returning to one of the biggest mainstages in the world and, not only his fanbase in Australia, Martin’s global following is beyond excited that their favourite music producer is back and ready to blow away fans at the upcoming Ultra festival. Now we cannot get ahead of ourselves just yet because Martin Garrix has only been announced for Ultra Australia, however, many fans are already hoping the DJ returns to the lineups of Ultra festivals across the world such next year such as Miami and Singapore.
There was a lot of speculation of the reason Martin Garrix did not play an Ultra performance during 2018. Most believed it was due to the fact his 2017 Ultra set was pushed back on time and his performance not recorded, which may have rubbed the wrong way on the world’s best DJ. That said, it looks as though and differences between Ultra and Garrix has been quashed and we hope to see the return of Martin to all Ultra festivals.
Ultra Australia fans are further satisfied by the festivals various other headliners which include huge names. Also heading to the outback in February is arguably the hottest electronic dance duo right now The Chainsmokers, the masked phenom that is Marshmello, and possibly techno’s most dominant artist currently in the form of Drumcode Records founder Adam Beyer. After just four headliners announced, Ultra Australia looks mouth-wateringly insane already. Check out the line up below and head on over to grab your festival ticket here.
