Christmas came early for all ODESZA fans out there, this time being in the form of an extended ‘deluxe’ edition of their Grammy-nominated album: ‘A Moment Apart’. The Electronic duo finds themselves at the centre of the current movement in main-stage “chill” music, a scene that maintains its own lifestyle, philosophy, and spiritual identity, evolving into something like a state of being.
Truly setting itself ‘apart’ from everything else out there, ‘Loyal‘- a relentless trap tune previously released as a single, finds itself at the forefront of the album. Followed by a remix of ‘Memories That You Call (feat. Monsoonsiren)‘, Golden Features & ODESZA offer a powerful, house-oriented rendition to the now 4-year-old fan-favourite. The duo also revisits another ‘old-but-gold’ track, offering a dreamy VIP touch-up on ‘It’s Only (feat. Zyra)‘. Fans can enjoy a collection of reprises & instrumentals that allow the listener to, once again, familiarize themselves with ODESZA’s iconic approach: feelings of nostalgia, longing, and hope.
