Mysterious producer ZHU from Los Angeles announced on his Instagram that his Dune Part II Tour is canceled. The news came in as a huge surprise, given the fact that ZHU has a huge fan base that was eager to see the DJ and producer with Asian roots play his beloved songs in front of them.

ZHU’s released his latest album ‘RINGOS DESERT’ just some months ago, in September. The album was definitely one of the best electronic dance music albums this year, featuring magical tracks such as ‘Guilty Love’, ‘Still Want U’, and ‘Coming Home’. Speaking of this masterpiece of an album, the reason why ZHU canceled his Dune Part II Tour: Making new music. In a short yet cleat Instagram post the US-American wrote:

I’m sorry to say that Dune Tour pt2 will be canceled. It is time for me to make new music. Music that will inspire me and those around me. Music that I can play come festival season.

Whether the reason to cancel a whole tour in order to make new music that can be played during next years festival season is a betrayal of his loyal fans or just freedom of the creator is definitely debatable. However, it is safe to say that we can look forward to some new and exciting ZHU music, both for his fans as well as people that are going to see him during one of his festival gigs.

We still don’t know if the DJ and producer is going to re-schedule his Dune Part II Tour or if it is canceled once and forever. Fingers are crossed that the first will happen!
