ADE 2019 dates announced
Amsterdam Dance Event 2018 was the biggest and best edition of the event ever, with over 300,000 visitors from around the globe coming together in Amsterdam to share their passion for dance music. The week was filled with exciting industry events, panels, DJ meetups and parties. The most memorable ones being Hardwell‘s last live performance at the Ziggo Dome and AMF, which saw over 40,000 people gather in the Johan Cruijff ArenA to see Martin Garrix being crowned as the world’s number 1 DJ once again.
ADE 2019 has just been announced and will take place from the 16th to the 20th October 2019. Organizers are expecting this year’s event to be even bigger than ADE 2018, with over 400,000 visitors expected for the 24th edition of the event. The director of the event Mariana Sanchotene spoke about the upcoming event, saying:
During ADE, Amsterdam will once again be the centre of the global electronic music industry and the home base for music enthusiasts. Our conference and festival activities showcase what is happening around the world, but should also be a reflection of how creative, innovative, vibrant and inclusive our hometown is. There are numerous topics to address, from local matters such as the rapidly changing landscape for festivals in the Netherlands and Europe, through to inclusivity and tolerance in the music industry on a global scale. We look forward to again welcoming creative minds from all over the world to connect, create, do business or just to be inspired,” added Sanchotene.
