Home Uncategorized BREAKING: Tomorrowland announces 2019 artists

Tomorrowland has no doubt grown to be one of the most iconic and highly anticipated festivals in the world. Over the years, millions of dance music have united in Belgium to celebrate their passion and support their favourite artists. Tomorrowland is an exciting time for artists as well, as they get to perform for huge crowds both at the festival and at home watching the live streams. For many it is a dream to be a part of this festival and anticipation is growing fast as we approach the 2019 festival season. The Tomorrowland ‘Book of Wisdom’ was opened for fans on Facebook, revealing the first batch of artists who will perform at the 2019 edition of the festival.

Fans will be happy to see many of the regular performers such as Armin van Buuren, who is always able to entertain the crowd by playing unique and emotional sets featuring diverse styles and genres. Above & Beyond will also be performing and many will be happy to see The Chainsmokers return to the festival where they will no doubt play their biggest hits like ‘Something Just Like This‘ and ‘Closer’.

The biggest surprise of this announcement is no doubt the confirmation that ASAP Rocky will perform at Tomorrowland 2019, though we have seen performances from artists outside of the EDM world like Slash in the past, it is interesting to see the festival organisers diversifying the range of music available to fans.

There is also a notable increase in the number of acts from the underground scene, which reflects the increase in popularity of the techno, tech-house and house genres. Charlotte de Witte, Adam Beyer, FISHER, Boris Brejcha, Carl Cox and many others are confirmed for Tomorrowland 2019. We will also get a taste of a more ‘underground’ festival line up during MMW, where Ultra will host Resistance Island, featuring some of the biggest names in the scene.

Be sure to check out the full announcement via the Facebook video below and follow Tomorrowland for the upcoming lineup announcements.
