Electronic music today has gigantic artists who perform shows that are in-demand all over the world. A show that has taken the world by storm in recent years is Garden of Madness from Belgian duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. With special guests which included Armin van Buuren, Netsky, Nicky Romero and Lil Kleine, fans were treated to an unforgettable experience.

As we are accustomed, everything involving the Belgian brothers and Tomorrowland is synonymous of special shows. There were huge butterflies hanging from the ceiling of the Antwerp Sportpaleis, light cannons at various points on the crowd, a lot of fire, serpentine, shredded paper and of course, Like Mike talking on the microphone while Dimitri Vegas dictated the rhythm of the epic shows.

Each performance lasted almost 2 hours and featured many hits that marked the duo’s impressive career. After an exciting intro, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s edit of Tomorrowland’s most played song of 2018, Fisher‘s ‘Losing It’, echoed through the place and soon after, fans were treated to the unmistakable ‘Ocarina’, driving the audience crazy. In the beginning of the set, the great influence that hip-hop has on the sound of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike is evidently clear, with remixes of Eminem and Drake, infused with the big room sound that consecrated the duo.

Like Mike invites the thousands of people on the dance floor to hit their chest, clap their hands and celebrate ‘The Hum‘, as well as singing ‘Bella Ciao‘. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s live performances are always full of personality, a huge stage presentation and interaction with the crowd. Armin van Buuren took to the stage to play alongside the duo, dropping his iconic ‘This Is What It Feels Like‘ and a mashup of tracks ‘Unity‘ and ‘Blah Blah Blah‘.
