dronehands – The Horn of Jericho (ft. deadmau5)

deadmau5 has confirmed he’s been behind a new mysterious project. The mau5trap owner confirmed during a live stream on his Twitch channel that he had a secret (at least until now) new song coming up.  He stated that it was a song in which he collaborated and did “some of the melodies”. The intriguing track is called ‘The Horn of Jericho‘ and it’s a collaboration along with the upcoming Californian producer dronehands as part of his new album ‘October Forever’. 

This news seemed to take everyone by surprise as the track doesn’t contain the kind of sound we would expect from the Canadian icon. However, the song is extremely well produced with atmospheric and acoustic melodies accompanied by a powerful uplifting bass that fades in and fades out.

Luckily, the album is out now with the featured deadmau5 track available to listen to for free. But it should be also pointed out that donations are welcome in order to download the track. So observing the amount of work put into this high-quality piece, let’s not forget that it’s always important to support new talent.
