Swedish House Mafia appoint new manager
The Swedish House Mafia news train just keeps on chugging along and this time, the trio are making headlines for the announcement of their new manager. After parting with long-time boss Amy Thomson – the woman who oversaw their Ultra 2018 reunion, as well as their ‘One Last Tour’ schedule and shows at the Milton Keynes Bowl In 2012 and Madison Square Garden In 2011 – the Swedes have revealed that Ron Lafitte is the new figure at the helm of 2019’s biggest dance act.
Ron, who works for Patriot Management, also manages Pharrell Williams, Ryan Tedder and OneRepublic, who have all previously had a had in some of the biggest EDM anthems of all time via team-ups with Alesso and SHM, so we may well see another Swedish House Mafia collab incoming! With the Wynn Las Vegas recently announcing Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso as residents for their year, all eyes are on potential new Swedish House Mafia music ahead of their big anticipated return at Stockholm’s Tele2 Arena in May.
With shows at Creamfields and various other destinations already locked in, there is no doubt that 2019 will mark a return to the summit of the industry for the hugely popular trio.
