A few months back, at the end of October 2018, Tiësto released his solo track ‘Grapevine’, in which he made brilliant use of Marvin Gaye’s classic sample ‘I Heard It Through the Grapevine’. The result was a fine House tune, with elements of Electro and Future bass, which is still being played at clubs all over the world at the moment. Last week, the renowned Dutchman gave ‘Grapevine’ another boost by dropping its official music video, which is a must see for all Tiësto fans and EDM lovers who were kids once – that’s right, all of us!

In the heart warming video, we see a young boy who is about to be hypnotized by the magic of an EDM track (‘Grapevine’) for the very first time, with goosebumps appearing on his arm – a feeling we can all relate to when hearing our favorite tune on the radio or at a festival. The repetitive chorus kicks in at the same time “Ooh I’m just about to lose my mind!”, which is exactly what happens to the boy. As soon he sets the needle on the record, he enters a colorful world full of animations, with people dancing on the streets and cartoon animals jumping about. Towards the 2:00 minute mark, the boy really goes wild, showing off some amazing dance moves, adding even more fun to the feel good factor of Tiësto‘s amazing video.

The video, which is directed and animated by Thomas Dutton, is being kept rather short with its 2:30 minutes in total, but it’s long enough to brighten up your gloomy January day. Check out the official music video for Tiësto’s ‘Grapevine’ down below on YouTube and dance along with the young main character!
