Tiësto brings in the new year with stellar Countdown NYE set

To close 2018 in style there were a number of exciting events on offer around the world, but undoubtedly one of the most stacked options was Countdown NYE which took place at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, California. Artists including Zedd, Tiësto, Dillon Francis, Afrojack and Alison Wonderland performed unbelievable sets, enabling attendees to bring in the New Year in style. One of the greatest sets of the night was delivered by Dutch icon Tiësto, who treated the audience to a performance that combined classics with current hits.

Kicking off his set in style with ‘WOW‘, Tiësto proceeded to navigate his way through a series of adrenaline-fueled hits, from Calvin Harris‘ big room slammer ‘C.U.B.A‘ to the W&W bootleg of Avicii‘s ‘Levels‘. Tiësto also treated fans to a selection of his own releases, from ‘Coming Home‘ with Mesto to his collaboration with KSHMR ‘Secrets‘. In a surprise twist, he ended his set by delving into the realms of hardstyle, dropping Brennan Heart‘s remix of ‘BOOM‘. The sheer energy created at the end of the set is second to none and serves as a reminder that Tiësto will continue to dominate festival mainstages for years into the future. The whole set created an incredible level of energy making it ideal for a New Year countdown, enabling attendees to bring in the New Year in absolutely phenomenal style.
