Home Uncategorized Tommy Trash & i_o tease new collaboration ‘Let Me Go’

Just when we started to realize that it’s been kind of quiet around Tommy Trash, an exciting teaser of his new collaboration with the ever mysterious producer i_o surfaces on social media. The Australian DJ/producer has previously teamed up with US-based electronic music producer Garrett Lockhart, whose first release under his i_o moniker (‘Warning’) got him featured on Mau5trap‘s ‘We Are Friends Vol.7’ compilation at the end of 2017. Tommy Trash and i_o joining forces then resulted in the super catchy deep house single ‘Oxygen’, with great vocal support by Daisy Guttridge and the pair has decided to team up with the UK singer/songwriter once again for their new track ‘Let Me Go’.

Tommy Trash also worked with Daisy Guttridge in the summer of 2017, when they dropped the dreamy house ballad ‘Sinners’, and the renewed cooperation gives us every reason to believe that the previous one lived up to both their expectations. At first listen, the short snippet of ‘Let Me Go’ – which suddenly appeared on social media this week – sounds very promising too, so we can’t wait to find out what the full version of the track will sound like. Either way, it’s great to see new music of the ‘Sunrise’ producer is finally coming.

Besides captioning the three usernames of the artists involved, the post also noted ‘02.08.19’, which probably means we can expect a release date of February 8th. Since Mau5trap was actually the first one to post the snippet, ‘Let Me Go’ is likely to be released on deadmau5‘s eponymous label. If the quality of the track in its entirety is anywhere near the quality of ‘Oxygen’, it’s safe to say that Tommy Trash is back!
