The international festival calendar has developed over the years to see some events shift into the Winter season. For the first time, the worldwide-famous Tomorrowland will climb the French Alps to hold its new Tomorrowland Winter event. There will be lots of music, fun, and snow for those who are going to experience ‘The Hymn of the Frozen Lotus‘ in Alpe d’Huez and as we are all very curious about what the festival will be like, we have put together some interesting details about the event.

Unlike the Belgian edition of the event, which plays host to about 200,000 people per weekend, Tomorrowland Winter will invited only 30,000 ravers from around the globe. Attendees can enjoy the event through 2 types of package: Mysterious 7-day or Fascinating 4-day Package. Also different from the main festival, for the winter edition, Tomorrowland has not sold day tickets and only packages have been made available, packages which include a Tomorrowland ticket, lodging, and a lift & ski pass.

One of the biggest questions is: where are they going to put the stages in a place full of mountains? The Main Stage, for example, will be in the Shepherds parking lot and will run from 4pm to 10pm. The second stage, which runs from 4pm to 1am, with capacity for 11,000 people, will be at the top of Bergers Lake, and the third and final stage will take over the field of the local football stadium with capacity for 10,000 people.

Everyone who participates in Tomorrowland Winter will be staying at the resort of Alpe d’Huez and will be divided into 3 different areas: Chantebise, at an altitude of 2100 meters and with a capacity for 7000 people; Folie Douce, which can receive 3000 people; and Pic Blanc, located at the top of the resort at an altitude of 3300 meters, a mobile area that will move during every day.

Throughout the duration of the Tomorrowland Winter, from March 9 to the 15th, only the people who will participate will have access to the Alpe d’Huez exclusively. You can check more information, line-up and more about Tomorrowland Winter at the official website.
