2019 is set to be a massive year for Dutch DJ and producer duo W&W. With their new Rave Culture label set up, and the NWYR project in full flow, the following 12 months is sure to be huge for Willem van Hanegem and Ward van der Harst. Rave Culture saw its launch night during Amsterdam Dance Event and now has a regular radio show uploaded to Soundcloud by the name of Rave Culture Radio. The most recent episode saw a big announcement prior to the duo dropping the new Third Party tune ‘Remember‘ – fun fact: the Rave Culture launch night preceded Third Party’s phenomenal ADE event at NOVA on October 19th – with the Dutchmen revealing that a particular Swedish trio have “lots of new music coming”.

Of course, that Swedish trio go by the name of Swedish House Mafia. Axwell. Sebastian Ingrosso. Steve Angello.

W&W stated that they recently spoke to members of SHM, and that the conversation resulting in a confirmation that new music is on the way, presumably in the following year. The anticipation to their reunion tour is continuously building and news about new music will only add to the rapidly chugging hype train, and fans are sure to love it! The only questions to be thrown onto the table are “What genre will they produce?” and “Will they bring back that good old progressive sound?‘… all that We Rave You can say for now is that music IS on the way, but the continued mystery of how it will sound and what direction the Swedes may take doesn’t appear to be ending any time soon.

For now, check out the most recent solo releases from Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello as main artists below, and get a feel for what might be to come from the mighty Swedish House Mafia upon their return.
