Every year anticipation is incredibly high ahead of Armin van Buuren‘s A State Of Trance festival, which is held in Jaarbeurs, Utrecht. This year’s edition was perhaps the best yet, with many huge talents joining Armin on the star-studded lineup. With 35,000 fans from 100 countries in attendance and 12 million more watching the livestream online, the success of this year’s festival proves once again that it is one of the most popular events in the world.

With memorable sets from numerous artists including Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Cosmic Gate, and Vini Vici, attendees were treated to an unforgettable experience. During the ASOT.TV radio broadcast, Armin announced the huge news that ASOT will host an event in the Bay Area on the 29th June, an announcement that provoked a huge response, particularly from fans based in the USA.

Over the course of the festival Armin van Buuren performed three sets, two at the mainstage and one special performance at the Who’s Afraid of 138?! stage. In the middle of his second mainstage set he was joined by iconic trio Above & Beyond, and the artists revealed that they have collaborated on a brand new single, ‘Show Me Love‘. Naturally, this previously unheard of collaboration provoked a monumental response from the crowd and across the online fan community who were watching live. During Above & Beyond’s own mainstage performance, they were officially confirmed to perform at Electronic Family festival on 20th July, which will see them return to The Netherlands.

The whole event was filled with memorable moments and incredible pyrotechnic displays, reminding partygoers exactly why the festival has remained so popular for so many years. With the festival continuing to exceed expectations, the bar has been set incredibly high for next year’s edition, which will no doubt be the best yet.
