Axwell kicks off new ‘Axwell: Approved’ series with one hour mix

Marking a fresh era of curation, Axwell’s Axtone Records label has launched a brand new ‘Approved’ series, and who better to kick off the birth of the new project than the main man himself? Marking the start of an exciting new chapter, it is believed that the Axtone Approved series will include a flurry of future mixes from the imprint’s biggest stars.

With the Swedish House Mafia maestro taking the helm on episode #01, Axwell’s mix includes his latest hit ‘Nobody Else‘, as well as his iconic SHM hits ‘Greyhound’ and the Daddy’s Groove remix of ‘Leave The World Behind.’ Packing in D.O.D‘s latest Axtone anthem ‘According To Me’, the one-hour mix also includes suspected forthcoming Axtone release ‘Dust’ from BROHUG, and a track around the 7-minute mark that even sounds suspiciously like a brand new Axwell ID!

You can check out the sizzling mix from Axwell below. This is Axtone… APPROVED!

Making the switch over from an established career in sports journalism to the world of dance music in 2016, Jake Gable has cemented a spot as one of the industry's most in-demand names during his tenure to date. Working on highly successful press campaigns for the likes of Tiësto, MK, and many more during his time at one of London's most premiere PR outfits, Gable has also proved his hand as a skilled journalist, interviewing acts such as Oliver Heldens, Martin Solveig, NERVO, and many more at international events like EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, and Amsterdam Dance Event. Working tirelessly as the CEO & Founder of UK company The EVENT, Gable also doubles up as a tour manager, playlist curator, dance music influencer, and DJ, under his JK-GBL alias. Further adding strings to his bow as a freelance copywriter - where he has worked for numerous iconic artists such as Axwell, and labels, such as Third Party's Release Records - Gable is best known for producing two of the biggest editorials in We Rave You history; The first a breaking news story on Swedish House Mafia's return at Miami's Ultra Music Festival in 2018 (a world exclusive), and the second titled 'Avicii: The Truth...', an inquest into the EDM star's passing, published less than 24 hours after his death.
