Galantis ft. OneRepublic – Bones

Popular Swedish duo Galantis are back with their first release of the year, a collaboration with American pop/rock band OneRepublic titled ‘Bones’. Both acts have had a successful year last year, each of them dropping a string of great releases. In Galantis’ case singles like ‘Satisfied’, ‘Mama Look At Me Now’ and more recently ‘Emoji’, became huge hits, while OneRepublic hit it out of the park with their summer smash hit ‘Connection’.

Where Galantis’ last single, ‘San Francisco’ ft. Sofia Carson was a true upbeat EDM track, ‘Bones’ is more of a pop and rock-influenced track, clearly allowing OneRepublic’s signature sound to take the lead. The track is all about someone’s strong feelings for that one special person, feelings so deep that “I don’t just feel it in my heart, I feel it in my bones”. Ryan Tedder, the band’s frontman, lays his incredible vocals over another vibrant production of the Swedish duo, resulting in an interesting track full of happy vibes, that makes you long for the summer already.

Galantis are currently on tour in the US, with performances in Atlanta and Indianapolis ahead of them in early February, while OneRepublic is set to play in Scottsdale, Arizona this Friday. Check out Galantis’ new collaboration ‘Bones’ ft. OneRepublic down below via Spotify.
