Celebrate Oliver Heldens’ birthday with this classic set from Sensation

He’s the mastermind behind several of this decade’s biggest hits, including UK number #1 single ‘Gecko‘, Throttle collaboration ‘Waiting‘, and Tiësto team-up ‘Wombass’. We are of course referring to Heldeep Records founder, Oliver Heldens, who turns 24 years old today.

The Dutch star, born in Rotterdam, has amazed audiences worldwide since bursting into the dance scene in 2013 via his Musical Freedom debut, headlining mainstages at the likes of Ultra Music Festival in Miami, EDC in Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, and Creamfields. So to mark this occasion, we are turning the clock back to 2015, when Monsieur Heldens performed at the annual Dutch spectacular, ‘Sensation‘, a festival where all attendees wear the colour white from head to toe.

Taking place at the Amsterdam Arena, home of the Ajax football team, over 50,000 party people were in attendance to witness Oliver delivering one of his most incredible sets to date, dropping slick edits of Fox Stevenson‘s ‘Sweets‘ Vs Kanye West’s ‘American Boy’, and the Big Z remix of Calvin Harris‘ ‘Thinking About You‘.
