Project North – Red N Blue

Amsterdam based artists Josh Brust and Jeroen Dekker, better known as Project North, are releasing their first single of the year with a bang. The duo has always been characterised by acoustic electronic sounds influenced by hip-hop and Latin genres. However, they’ve come up with something different for this year. The result can be noted in their latest hit called ‘Red N Blue‘.

The initial part of the track is an instrumental masterpiece led by hip-hop vocals, an electric guitar and drums. Following up, a deep strong beat makes a transition to an astonishing and energetic bass drop. The song sounds very unique as it perfectly combines two styles in one, adapting chilled melodic acoustic rhythms with darker vibes and powerful bass drops. In general terms, this song is a perfect club banger.

Very interesting material from the up and coming Dutch artists that are presenting themselves as one of the acts to follow this year. Surely, after this track, we’ll hear a lot more from them.
