Alesso set to drop ‘Progresso Volume 1’ mixtape this Friday

Iconic. Phenomenal. Breathtaking. Alessandro Lindblad is only 27 years old, but the aforementioned trio of words represent an impeccable career that has been packed with highs. For Alesso, it has been hit after hit, and the Swede’s gigantic following is longing for something new to follow up the likes of ‘Years‘, ‘City Of Dreams‘, and ‘Take My Breath Away‘. Well, Alesso fans, look no further, as the progressive star is back with something fresh: Volume 1 of his brand new ‘Progresso’ mixtape. Oh, and it drops this Friday!

Though there is little insight into what exactly the mixtape will consist of, or how long it’ll be, the teaser video gives a clue as to what sound it might take. The teaser features a brand new track, known from his recent sets as the opening ID titled ‘Drifter‘, which follows a similar vibe to that of ‘Tilted Towers’ and ‘Remedy‘, a fusion of progressive and house that was labelled by Alesso himself as “future progressive”.

It appears that Alesso has entered a new chapter in his career, and for those who get to catch the incredible Swedish DJ dropping some of his fresh tracks in upcoming sets this summer can start getting in the mood with this new mixtape. Keep an eye on Alesso’s socials on Friday for the link!
