BREAKING: Armin van Buuren to play extended set at Ultra Miami
When the news was announced earlier this week that Eric Prydz was unable to make it out to Miami for this year’s Ultra Music Festival, many disappointed fans felt that the festival would suffer as a result of one of the most legendary artists in the electronic industry. However, it appears that the people of Florida need not worry, as iconic DJ and producer Armin van Buuren has stepped in to play an extended set instead.
Taking Pryda‘s place at the showpiece event in Miami, Armin will play a special extended set on his own ‘A State of Trance‘ stage during the finale of the festival’s 21st year tonight. Fresh from the back of his recent ASOT 900 show, we can’t think of a better replacement than Armin to round off a weekend which has so far seen performances from the likes of Tchami, deadmau5, Alesso, Marshmello – and remarkably – even Colonel Sanders!
Check out the Tweet below from the official Ultra Music Festival Twitter account:
Regrettably, Eric Prydz is unable to be present for his performance today due to an acute medical condition. We wish him a speedy recovery.
