deadmau5 debuts his Cube 3.0 at Ultra Music Festival in Miami

A lot has been said over the last few months about Cube 3.0, the new audiovisual stage concept from Canadian DJ and producer Deadmau5. The latest version of his famous Cube show made its world debut on the live stage at Ultra Music Festival Miami. The result? A mind-blowing audio-visual experience, unlike anything we’ve seen before!  The huge, motorized, three-sided cube rotates and tilts surrounding the DJ booth to reveal Deadmau5 sitting in his gaming chair surrounded by a desk, controlling the hub, framed by a curved LED wall in the back. Attendees were left speechless. This really pushes the boundaries of stage production.

Not everything went as planned for the world-famous DJ, though. The set started with some technical problems as the Cube didn’t work for 5 minutes,  while Deadmau5 walked around the stage. But the moment it began, everyone was hooked! Although the whole set hasn’t been revealed since it was livestreamed, the DJ played “Saturn”, “Polyphobia”, “Are You Not Afraid”, to be joined by singer Lights performing live “Drama Free” and “Raise Your Weapon” and finishing with “Saturn”. What a perfect ending.
