Gesaffelstein – Blast Off (featuring Pharrell)

French DJ and producer Gesaffelstein (Mike Lévy) releases his newest track ‘Blast Off’ featuring the American rapper/singer Pharrell Williams. The duo bring a new sound to the track, mixing the dark techno sounds that the French producer is known for and something new from Pharrell, with his dark poppy vocals on the track. The track in its entirety gives out this 70’s disco nostalgia, where you can imagine yourself on a cool summer night driving down the street, with the windows rolled down in your 77′ Pontiac Firebird Trans Am while playing this song .

‘Blast Off’ comes in as Gesaffelstein’s third single from his highly anticipated album Hyperion, which is set to drop on March 8th under the Columbia Records label. This isn’t the first time Gesaffelstein collaborates with a pop artist, his last single ‘Lost In The Fire’ featured the voice of The Weeknd, whose collaboration track hit the number 27 spot on the Hot 100, giving Gesaffelstein his biggest hit to this date.
