Martin Garrix hit ‘Don’t Look Down’ turns 4 years old

Dutch DJ Martin Garrix is a name that is on everybody’s lips in the music industry. Exploding onto the scene back in 2013 with massive hit ‘Animals’, Garrix proved that he has what it takes to become an extremely successful producer. His massive rise in popularity has gained him many star-studded collaborations with singers such as Dua Lipa, Troye Sivan and Khalid and fellow DJs David Guetta and Third Party to name a few. On this day we turn our attention to hit song ‘Don’t Look Down’ as it turns four years old.

Stepping away from instrumental tracks, Martin enlisted American Grammy-Award winning singer-songwriter Usher to sing vocals which no doubt helped to solidify the feel-good prog house banger as his most successful release of 2015. The song is described as being about “focusing on the positive side of everything” which is evident through the upbeat and energetic nature of the lyrics. Released on Dutch label Spinnin’ Records and gaining 126 million YouTube views and over 186 million Spotify streams, this remains to be one of the most successful tracks of Martin Garrix’s career and is a staple in his sets to this day.
