Peter Luts & Basto – Nimbus

Belgian 44 year old’s often aren’t known for producing some of the best progressive tracks the world has ever had the pleasure of hearing, but Jef Martens can say he has completed that accolade with tracks like ‘Again and Again‘ and ‘Cloudbreaker‘. The legendary producer known as Basto has returned with a brand new progressive track that channels older sounds but with a more melodic take on the current scene, in a huge collaboration with chart topping fellow Belgian: Peter Luts. ‘Nimbus‘ was born, and is truly incredible.

Luts and Martens have worked together before, releasing ‘On My Own‘ back in 2008. They also worked together on the vocal trance project Lasgo, alongside others, and are no stranger to sharing a studio. You can truly see the duo’s chemistry in the studio, as this track blends sounds perfectly to create an extra special release. Though the track hasn’t hit a main stream label like Spinnin’ – the home of many Basto releases – it is certain to be heard far and wide during DJ sets over the coming months, as the feel good, summer sounding progressive vibes radiate goodness from start to finish, and creates a perfect release in ‘Nimbus‘.
