Odesza soundtracked new Game of Thrones teaser

In recent years, EDM has hit the mainstream in a big way. From using tracks in advertisements on television to soundtracks in blockbuster films, it’s clear that more and more people are understanding just how much of an impact EDM can have, and Game of Thrones is no different.

Being one of the biggest television shows in the entire world, all eyes are on Game of Thrones as the final season of the smash-hit franchise kicks off. In one of many YouTube videos uploaded by the official HBO account to hype up the series, EDM fans spotted a very familiar track. “Corners of the Earth” by duo Odesza was chosen to soundtrack the countdown video, and this isn’t the first time Odesza tracks have been used to promote something huge, with “Loyal” being used by Apple for the latest news advertisement (which was debuted during a keynote speech). With two tracks being used to promote huge things in under a year, don’t be surprised if you hear even more Odesza tracks used for promotion as companies catch on to the magic of their music.
