When it comes to DJs, there are probably none as exuberant as Salvatore Ganacci and we were treated, once again, to his antics upon the Ultra mainstage on Saturday. He certainly excited the Miami crowd, crafting an ever-energetic set around an array of IDs and recent releases, one of which was his own. Having released his first track of 2019 on Friday, Ganacci opened proceedings with “Cake”, his upbeat and pulsating new collaboration alongside the masterful, Isreali producer Megatone (otherwise known as Maor Levi).
The talent and personality of both producers comes across comprehensively in “Cake”, with its quick-witted baseline underlining an infectious top line, complimenting the tracks snappy vocal hooks perfectly. After teasing it in a Tomorrowland Winter Invite Mix, it has undeniable potential to become a festival favourite; a signature piece of Ganacci and Megatone magic sure to have fans moving as it did in Miami this past weekend. Both producers will look to push the track to its limits, heading into the festival season with “Cake” in their armoury. Expect to hear it live at the likes of Creamfields (China), EDC Las Vegas and at many more festivals worldwide. Whatsmore, the Big Beat Records release is set to feature within the Big Beat: Ignition compilation series which will celebrate the notorious Los Angeles electronic music scene. The bass-infused compilation will be available for download everywhere on the 12th of April.
In the meantime, however, you can purchase “Cake” on iTunes here!
