Skrillex reveals new music is in the works: ‘This is just the warm up’

31-year old, LA based DJ and producer Skrillex has been taking some time off from releasing music in the past two years, but is finally back and ready to serve us some fresh bangers. The talented producer shared on his Twitter, that he has been busy making music for quite some time now, working on his friends albums and his own stuff and that he is finally thinking about releasing it. After many rumours about an upcoming album, the artist says that he is not sure what to call his work yet, but he is working on it and moving forward at full speed.

The talented artist absolutely killed it at Ultra Music Festival in Miami last month, where he performed as Dog Blood, with Boys Noize. The duo released an experimental, bouncy, bass track ‘Turn Off The Lights’, last month and judging by their UMF set, which was packed with IDs, there is a lot more coming soon.

We can’t be sure what exactly to expect from Sonny (Skrillex), since he has shown in the past that he can be very experimental with his music and that his styles can vary from soft bass beats, like the ones in his collaboration with Hikaru Utada ‘Face My Fears’, to hard electro elements combined with hip-hop, which we can experience in his remixes of Travis Scott‘s ‘SICKO MODE’ and Kendrick Lamar‘s ‘HUMBLE.’. Something big is definitely coming in his new music chapter and fans should brace themselves as it is only the warm up for what’s coming next.
