Confession label-head Tchami returned his solo act to Ultra Miami this year, after appearing alongside Malaa in 2018, as part of their ‘No Redemption’ tour. While the funky Frenchman didn’t necessarily play a plethora of ID’s, his brooding basslines and grimacing synths captivated his audience, as he delivered his first solo set at Ultra’s flagship edition in 2 years.

Kicking things off with classics from his widely successful ‘Revelations EP’, tracks such as ‘Godspell’ and ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ made an immediate impact, bringing out everyone’s bass-faces instantaneously. While just one ID was played toward the start of the set, Tchami did drop his brand-new single with Ibranovski; Omega [48:10], as well as KOOS’ remix of Malaa’s new single; ‘Addiction’.

Tchami also blessed the crowd with a treasure-trove of Confession releases from regulars such as Ibranovski, Cazztek and Brohug. He would also go on to treat his followers with crowd-favourite collaborations such as ‘Summer 99‘ and ‘Kurupt’, before going further back, by dropping his timeless remix of Martin Garrix and Jay Hardway‘s ‘Wizard’. Adding the icing on the cake at the end, Tchami closed out his set with ‘Adieu’ parts 1 & 2, before being met with a resounding applause.
