Ultra Miami announces festival dates for 2020 edition
Not ones to lose any time celebrating the conclusion of yet another edition of their famous franchise, the folks behind Ultra Music Festival have already announced the dates for the festival’s 2020 event. As the three day event – featuring some of the biggest acts of the scene, such as Nicky Romero, Afrojack, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Fedde Le Grand – came to a close on the 31st of March last week, the Ultra setup quickly took to their official twitter account to announce the prospective dates for the 2020 edition. The 2020 edition of the Ultra Music Festival, Miami is scheduled to be held on March 27, 28, 29.
The 2020 iteration of the festival will mark the 22nd anniversary of the festival since its first edition in 1999 – which was a one day affair at Collins Park in Maimi Beach area. It wasn’t until 2001 that the UMF franchise chalked outBayfront Park in Downtown Miami as their main location. Even though the festival did shift to Museum Park within Downtown Miami from 2006 to 2011, Bayfront Park eventually returned as the festival’s host area in 2012 and had been the iconic location associated with the festival. The 2019 edition saw the festival shift from Bayfront Park to Virginia Key as its location and its fair to say that this change hasn’t exactly gone their way. Nevertheless, there’s yet another year of fun and madness in Miami to look forward to for the Ultra fanatics in 2020.
