Despite Armin van Buuren stepping up to perform an incredible extended set, fans all over the world were no doubt disappointed and concerned when Eric Prydz had to cancel his Ultra Miami 2019 performance due to an “acute medical condition“. With the entire music industry wishing him a speedy recovery, the legendary DJ and producer is back with a new mysterious announcement.

Known for his incredibly unique and popular ‘HOLO’ shows, where the incredible music selection is accompanied by breathtaking and innovative visuals, Eric Prydz recently took to his social media to announce a new concept show called ‘VOID’. The video itself is very mysterious and initially only features a black hole with some of his signature sounds playing in the background. The teaser then reveals that this concept show will be premiered on August 23rd at Creamfields and that ‘VOID’ is an acronym for visual offset isometric design, suggesting there will once again be some stunning 3D visuals and light shows at this event.

Despite his absence from Ultra Miami 2019, Eric Prydz has had an overall good start to 2019, announcing shows all over the world including a Tomorrowland 2019 performance where he will debut a new holographic show and an upcoming show in the UK at the Shinding club in Newcastle. Despite his last Pryda release being almost a year old, there is no doubt Eric Prydz will have an arsenal of IDs ready for these upcoming shows.
