Danny MacDonald, better known as D-Mak has demonstrated his outstanding evolution. The 22-year-old Canadian producer has just reached that stage when an artist starts making a difference and this can be evidently noted on his latest release ‘Let You Go‘.

Driven by his pure love for dance music, Danny has achieved great accomplishments in a super competitive scene, which indicates the bright future he has ahead. However, success hasn’t come overnight for him. Seven years ago, D-Mak kick-started his music career by DJing at small parties and venues around his hometown. Two years later in 2014, he decided he wanted to go deeper dreaming of one day becoming a renowned EDM superstar. Just by the end of that year, he showed his incredible aptitudes and highly-trained skills releasing a bootleg of John Newman’s Love Me Again, which was an absolute success. After this renowned hit, 2015 was the year that made an impact on his musical journey. He went on to release his first original track ‘We Party Hard’ on Sunsesive Records and created his own radio show D-Mak Radio Show. From this moment onwards, he’s invested a lot of time on mastering his producing and DJ abilities, still going strong with the radio show that has allowed him to gain a considerable fan base and important regular weekly performances.

Now for this year D-Mak is giving us something different; this tropical house masterpiece called ‘Let You Go’. The famous classic lyrics are accompanied by a beautiful feminine voice and a smooth piano, which later joins some chilled and relaxed synths. The drop is a combination of very melodic leads inspired by Kygo‘s sunset vibes that wraps up a song that in general gives you an amazing and very well-balanced blend of relaxation and euphoria. Having already tested himself at all levels, this young kid is determined to take over the scene. Combining the passion with the hard work he puts in all of his musical projects, D-Mak’s one of those artists to closely follow for the coming years.
