Dutch DJ Don Diablo is making waves once again with his remix for Ellie Goulding. A few weeks ago, Don Diablo released his track ‘Brave‘, with Jessie J; this week, he is back with a powerful rework of Sixteen. Earlier this year Don Diablo released remixes for Mark Ronson, Panic at the Disco and an edit for Keanu Silva. Showing no signs of slowing down, he is back with another sure fired hit.

Sixteen was originally released in April 2019, which is Ellie’s second single of the year. Currently climbing the charts, it is bound to be a future hit. Sixteen has just surpassed 40 million worldwide streams. The original version is a pop/EDM ballad and with Don Diablo remixing the track, its bound to be a timeless classic.

The track starts off with Ellie’s vocals, with a climatic build up to a powerful drop. The song is about reminiscing from earlier days in life and how as you grow up, time is not on your side. You wouldn’t know this once the futuristic beat supplied by Don Diablo drops. After the chorus follows a melodic drop intertwined with Goulding’s vocals, Don and Ellie fans are bound to love this remix.
