HENDO – Tabula Rasa EP

Upcoming DJ and producer from the United States HENDO has been proving himself to be a talent to keep an eye on as he has been consistently releasing quality music and starting to gain a significant amount of following and support. His latest release is a brand new EP ‘Tabula Rasa’, which features 6 new tracks, which by building on the style made popular by Flume, aim to blur the lines between genres and establish a signature style which will separate HENDO from the rest.

Following the release of the 2 singles ‘LUSH’ and ‘Let It Go’ in the build-up to this EP release, HENDO adds 4 new tracks to complete ‘Tabula Rasa’. The first record on the EP is called ‘Do You Love’, and combines an infectious vocal chop with beautiful chord elements and an old school sounding hip hop beat. The production quality on this song and throughout the EP is truly outstanding and demonstrated how versatile HENDO is in the studio, as he is able to range from beautifully crafted melodic breaks like in ‘Sunday Drive’ to more high energy tunes like ‘LUSH’. Overall, this EP is a truly unique piece, as the 6 tracks all feel unique and different between them whilst still maintaining a cohesive sound as the songs transition between one another.
